I am very happy with this tablet. I was looking for a tablet smaller than 10 inch and under $200. There are basically 3 decent options, Samsung A7 Lite, Lenovo, and this tablet. I ended up choosing this one after comparing the Samsung A7 Lite to this one and deciding what is most important for me.I'll start with the negatives about this tablet which I knew about before purchase:The built-in speaker is really tinny sounding. It's fine for speakerphone and video chat, but streaming music will disappoint. There is no flash/flashlight.The screen brightness maximum is like 350 nit. Basically, that means it's not suitable for bright outdoors. In comparison my Samsung phone is capable of 1700 nit. The Samsung A7 lite is 360 nit so not any better than this one. I didn't find a tablet in this price range that was any brighter. The placement of the USB charging port is on the top. It's a little weird but got used to it. I use wireless headphones but the headphone jack is in kind of a weird location too. It's right on a corner.Custom cases for this tablet are extremely limited. I found 4 designs in total that are made for this tablet. That may increase if this tablet becomes more popular. The Samsung has hundreds of options. The last I would call negative is that I don't know how well this company will support software and security updates. That is probably where Samsung will have the main selling point since they typically support a new design for at least a few years before discontinuing updates.Ok, so where it beats Samsung:The Helio G99 processor is a little better than the P22T that Samsung puts in their A7 Lite. It's not a powerhouse like the Dimensity or Snapdragon 8 in the 1000 dollar tablets but it is plenty fast for what I do. It also means faster RAM and Bluetooth 5.2 vs Samsung's Bluetooth 5.0.8 gigs of RAM vs Samsung's 3 gigs. More RAM and faster RAM than the Samsung. This tablet is 128 or 256 gigs of storage. Samsung options are 32 or 64. The lower options beats Samsung's upper option.Screen resolution, this screen is 1900*1200 Samsung I believe was 1340*800. The picture on this tablet is exceptional for the price.Android 13. Samsung comes with Android 12 but I am sure it will update on the Samsung. I like the very basic Android that comes with this tablet. No bloatware like with Samsung.Widevine L1. Usually only the name brands would allow high resolution Netflix, YouTube TV etc and buying a generic tablet meant watching in 480P resolution or finding hacked versions of the apps. This tablet will play everything in HD just like any name brand.I didn't mention things that were pretty much equal with the Samsung like camera quality, battery life, construction, etc. So if there is no mention in my review, I didn't see an advantage of one over the other.I read a review claiming this tablet didn't have haptic feedback. That was one thing I was disappointed in but the review was wrong. It does have haptic feedback but is off by default in the android settings. If sound quality, name brand (with name brand support and updates), or case options are important to you, consider the Samsung. I chose this one for the faster processor, more RAM, more storage, and a better screen and I'm glad I did.
